Instruments – Trumpet

The trumpet is a member of the brass family of instruments. The trumpet often plays melodies in the band. The trumpet can be played both loud and soft. The trumpet can play both high notes and low notes. Sound is produced by buzzing your lips into a mouthpiece.

The weight of the instrument is held by the left hand, and the sound is changed by pushing three buttons in different combinations with the right hand. The trumpet section is usually divided into two or more groups to play different harmonies throughout a song.
